‘Anjali K. Couture’ by Anjali Khushalani is a label that encompasses contemporary styles and eclectic blends of Indian culture with modern fashion. Anjali graduated from Indiana University, USA with a degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship in 2007; however, after graduation she soon realized that her passion for Indian fashion was stronger than ever before. With a love for fashion and the awakening of the entrepreneur within her, Anjali successfully launched her private label Anjali K. Couture in 2011 with an aim of designing everything from Prêt-a-Porter to Bespoke Ethnic Couture.

 

Anjali truly believes that in the art and craft of design, “God is in the details’. This can be seen with the label’s primary focus on the intricate embroidery, opulent fabrics and creative silhouettes. Designed for the contemporary Indian woman, the collection is glamorous and sophisticated, internationally appealing, yet retaining the charm of Indian wear.
